1. - The only honest part in this DU post.

2. - Really? I don't see police or sheriffs officers any more now than I did 12 months ago. Weird.

3. - Ersatz German. IRL, Federal centers for detention of illegals are not guarded by US military troops, unless the Florida National Guard has started enlisting alligators.

4. - Claiming without explaining is a DU tradition, but I think this is an allusion and broadening of a recent incident in the Land of LA. Border Patrol and ICE did a raid in MacArthur Park, with personnel from the California National Guard providing protection from would-be attackers. Mayor Bass showed up to whine and try ti impede their effort. The CNG is not occupying MacArthur Park.

5. That's called deportation, something Presidents have overseen for a couple of centuries and more.

6. Incoming Presidential Administrations replacing people from the previous administration has been normal since Adams or Jefferson became President.

I'd hazard to guess that if the police state really was here, not a single lunatic at DU would have the guts to say something negative about it because in a real police state that would get you disappeared.
