But more often than I'd prefer, Ii read shit like this that makes me want to start throat punching DUmmies. Really, how low of a human cretin one must be to make these comparisons? This shit is an insult to anyone with common sense and decency.

Hell no, we're in 1939 Germany and I feel like this administration is about to do something really catastrophic. In addition to the thousands of laws and treaties and other rights they've violated.

To set up martial law and cancel the midterms. He has to cancel them otherwise all the first 2 years are worthless to him. He needs to stay out of jail, not get impeached, deliver the rest of P 2025 or parts of it.

Fix't 'er for ya. The word 'ally' implies that there's something - anything - the Islamic Republic of Iran produces that might be beneficial to an allied strategy toward a shared objective. The Soviet Union had a niche in their strategy where the Iranians fit nicely; harassing, distraction attacks on Western shipping thru the Persian Gulf. The ChiComs have a similar utilitarian role Iran's kamikaze drones can play in THEIR anti-west strategy. Iran's role in those strategies do not now and did not then require Iran's survival for that strategy to succeed. Ergo, they are not anyone's allies. And while Putin is a hard core believer in Russian Supremacy, it is that hard core belief that makes it difficult for him to latch onto a specific reason to resume the old Soviet relationship with Iran, as much as Iran might want him to.
