Under President Donald Trump, the U.S. Department of Education opened an investigation into Lia Thomas, claiming the swimmer competed at a heightened advantage over other swimmers. The situation, which is part of the Trump administration's investigation into transgender athletes in women's sports, came to a close on Tuesday when the Department of Education and Penn came to an agreement.

As part of the deal, Penn will restore records that Thomas broke to their original holders and send personal apologies to those swimmers and any swimmers who lost to Thomas. Additionally, the Department of Education said Penn now must "not allow males to compete in female athletic programs" while using "biology-based" definitions of male and female athletes moving forward.

It's like the country is waking up from a bad dream.

I guess I'll go check in on DU and see how they're taking the news...

In 10 years we'll look back at this period and won't be able to believe it was able to go as far as it did.  Thank God sanity is starting to return.

How pathetic is Thomas that he could not admit that:

* He was mediocre but did not want to do the work to be a national contender, or

* He was too mediocre to become a national contender?

Nope, hard work would be TOO hard, and he could not be honest, so he decided to steal from women swimmers. Pathetic. Of he's luckier than he deserves, his name will be common enough that he won't be recognized for who he is and he'll find gainful employment fairly easily, depending on his education and abilities in some non-athletic field.

On the brighter side, just the hormone therapies for Looney Troon-ness are enough to make this arrogant prick permanently sterile for the remainder of s/h/its days. Darwin won't have to do anything drastic to keep the young attention whore's genes out of the damned gene pool; young Thomas has already done it to s/h/itself.
