University of California Santa Barbara History Professor Butch Ware said Democrats "must be destroyed" and urged attendees to be ready for "war in the streets." Notably, in postings on X, Ware has said that candidates such as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed are too restrained and are being pushed by the establishment "to contain radicalism."

North Carolina House Democrats say they will no longer support one of their own candidates as criticism mounts over messages promoting political violence that were posted to her social media accounts. The withdrawal of support could have ramifications for the party’s efforts to gain influence in the chamber.

Shelly Headen is the Democratic nominee challenging incumbent Republican Rep. John Blust in Guilford County’s competitive House District 62.

Posts on Facebook, LinkedIn and X accounts bearing her name and photograph promote an attack on U.S. soil, compare President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler and wish ill toward those who support Trump’s “make America great again” slogan.

“I think our only hope is an attack on US soil ... preferably Alabama, Louisiana ... where the stupid people live,” one Facebook post says.

“Ready for the MAGAs to die off!!” a message on X, formerly Twitter, says.

A LinkedIn message compared Trump and his supporters to Nazis, saying Trump was “getting close to surpassing Hilter [sic]” and that the “MAGA cult may be more destructive and evil than the Nazis.”

In its latest edition, Liberal Currents asks, “What Are Democrats Thinking?” A lot of them are thinking about a dead President Donald Trump, according to a new poll featured in the left-wing digital magazine.

The poll, conducted in partnership with the Center for Strategic Politics, finds about one out of every three Democrats responding would like to see Trump assassinated while speaking at a rally. The survey of 683 Dem voters found 23 percent would feel “very positive” about the violent scenario posed. Another 8 percent would feel “somewhat positive.”

A federal agent assigned to Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation of Donald Trump said prosecutors kept him in the dark that phone data he was gathering under grand jury subpoenas belonged to members of Congress and that he would have had reservations about doing so if he had been told, according to explosive testimony released Tuesday night by the House Judiciary Committee.

Retired Justice Department Inspector General Special Agent Brian Burnett was quoted in the transcript as saying that during his decades working at the DOJ's watchdog, he never once was asked to collect congressional phone data and did not learn until after he retired in late 2024 that he had unwittingly done so as part of his work for Smith's team prosecuting Trump in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot investigation code-named Arctic Frost.

Walter Giardina — an FBI agent whistleblowers claim “openly stated his desire to investigate Trump, even if it meant false predication” — cited a Wikipedia article in support of launching yet another investigation of Donald Trump. That detail is but one of the crazier revelations buried in the latest cache of documents Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, made public last week in conjunction with FBI Director Kash Patel’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

As The Federalist previously reported, last week Patel testified before “the Senate Judiciary Committee on a wide-range of topics.” He dropped in the middle of the four-hour-plus hearing news related to the ongoing investigation of the weaponization of the FBI: The FBI had “made up” the Round River “classification,” Patel told Grassley on Tuesday.

Orlando, Florida – Edwin Guerrero (26, MA) has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe to 9 years and 11 months in federal prison and a $15,000 fine for making interstate threats to injure the person of another. Guerrero pleaded guilty on March 23, 2026. United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

According to court documents, between August 10 and 15, 2024, Guerrero used his social media account to make a series of antisemitic posts and threats directed to Congressman Randy Fine. At the time of the offense, Congressman Fine was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. The posts included the following threatening statements:

“Looks like I’m taking a little field trip to brevard county Florida let’s play a game @VoteRandyFine” from an IP address in Spain. Attached to the post was a photo of an individual holding what appears to be a firearm.

“@VoteRandyFine when he steps out in Florida don’t worry your 2 little precious. Jewish boys will suffer the same fate.” from an IP address in Spain. Attached to the post was a photo of a deceased male with significant head trauma.

“This is gonna be Randy Fine very very soon … see you in Florida !” from an IP address in Spain. Attached to the post was the same photo of a deceased male with significant head trauma.

“Why don’t you show us where you’re at? @VoteRandyFine your scared of getting your brains blown in ? Don’t worry we’ll make sure your sons watch …” from an IP address in Spain.

That's out of a whopping 600 some odd Democrat voters polled.  Granted, it only takes one to pull off an assassination, and the other numbers are showing too many people very clueless about how our government is supposed to work.  It's a disturbing poll, but not a great one, IMHO.
