‘It’ll Be Violent’: Chicago Teachers Union Hosts Israel-Hating Communist Convention Where Radicals Call for Sabotaging US Ports, Backing Iran

The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) hosted a Marxist, virulently anti-Israel conference last weekend which openly celebrated terrorism, introduced fledgling activists to "the growing BDS movement," and called on its members to support Iran’s "axis of resistance" and prepare for violence against the United States and Israel.

"We are all here to toughen our knuckles," Ryan Delaney, chair of communications for Jacksonville Palestine Solidarity Network, told attendees at the conclusion of events Saturday.

"I hope that everybody leaves here ready to fight when they get home," he told roughly 200 cheering attendees.

Sara Flounders, a member of the Secretariat of the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party, thundered to the crowd that "the enemy is at home. … Change doesn't ask for permission. It'll be violent. It'll be stormy. It'll be unpredictable."

Flounders praised attendees as "a really militant, determined group."

The conference, where activists went so far as to discuss how to shut down a major U.S. port to force out an Israeli company, was the second annual gathering of Anti-War Action Network (AWAN), an agglomeration of dozens of local activist groups around the country united by their hatred of Israel and mission to obstruct American "imperialism."

FBI Misled Court To Spy on Second Trump Campaign Adviser

Carter Page wasn’t the only adviser from Trump’s first campaign wiretapped by the FBI. Walid Phares was electronically monitored for a 12-month period between 2017 and 2018, according to the Washington-based FBI agent who was assigned to investigate him as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe.

As in Page’s case, the bureau withheld evidence exonerating Phares from the court to secure surveillance authorization, according to newly declassified FBI documents.

“I had no idea any of this was happening,” Phares told RealClearInvestigations in an exclusive interview Wednesday night. “This is shocking because they told my lawyer that I was only a ‘witness’ and that they just needed some information.”

“But these were huge abuses that I can see now,” he added. Phares said he intends to sue the FBI and Justice Department for damages.

The 68-year-old Lebanese-American scholar said case agents and prosecutors grilled him for months, questioned his employer, and even went after his bank records. As a result, he said he lost his job at a university, his livelihood, and even his bank accounts and credit card after Wells Fargo cancelled them.

“It was like a disaster for me financially and physically,” he said. “I also lost my Fox News contract” as an expert on terrorism and the Middle East, which he had held since 2007.

Phares was not hired by the Trump administration, even though he had been expected to land a high-level foreign policy position. “They scared the agencies from me so I would have problems with (obtaining) a security clearance,” he said.

Gov. Jeff Landry, R-La., and Attorney General Liz Murrill, R-La., called for a federal investigation into lawfare from officials in New Orleans who somehow secured a grand jury indictment against Murrill for sending them letters notifying them they had broken the law.

Murrill was indicted by a grand jury in Democrat-run Orleans Parish on 16 felony counts for malfeasance and intimidation earlier this month, facing 80 years in jail. The indictment came after Murrill informed New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno and other city officials that they could be removed from office if they continued to refuse to comply with a state law consolidating Orleans Parish’s civil and criminal court clerks into a single position.

Officials in New Orleans then “took it upon themselves to ignore my legal advice over and over again, and appoint someone to a fictional office that they made up the week of a statewide election for the Senate primary for the United States Senate,” Murrill said at a press conference, noting that the reckless act could have interfered with the vote and “undermined all of the ballots of the city of New Orleans.”

“A group of people in New Orleans, who still remain largely unidentified, were able to weaponize the grand jury system to indict a sitting attorney general for something that is not a crime,” Murrill said. She later added in a post on X, “I was indicted, threatened with arrest, and given a $400,000 bond. I invite everyone to compare that bond to those routinely set in Orleans Parish by this same judge for people charged with second-degree murder. I can tell you the answer: it’s about $268,000.”

The charges were dismissed this week, but Murrill and Landry have promised, “It’s not over,” seeking the disbarment of the lawyers involved in lawfare and a federal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the indictment, which U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., has also called for.

He campaigned with Hassan Piker who said US deserved 9/11

He endorsed Claire Valdez who also said America deserved 9/11

He endorsed Darializa Avila Chevalier who founded a group at Columbia with a stated goal of overthrowing Western Civilization

He sympathized with the Boston Marathon bombers before the murdered bodies were even cold?

His dad has justified "suicide bombing" (like the ones in 9/11) as "first and foremost a category of soldier".

Mandami has refused to condemn the phrase "Globalize the Intifada" which is exactly what 9/11 was

During his mayoral campaign he took a smiling picture with his arm around Iman Siraj Wahhaj who was accused of being one of the co-conspirators of the 1993 world trade center bombing

He has said he wanted to defund the police about a million times and demonized law enforcement

Yeah I wonder why the families don't want him there. The bigger question is how the hell did we get here in the 1st place?

Given I was well into adulthood and remember when the Muzzies attacked our country on 9/11/2001, predicted after Zohran Kwame Mamdani was elected in that dwindling and downwardly mobile shithole of NYC that he was going to absolutely shit all over the United States no matter what role he plays his performative appearances. Even though I didn't live there, 9/11 was by far the worst day in my lifetime, and the bending over backwards of lefties to agonize about "Islamophobia" just pisses me off to no end.
