Internal FBI emails reveal that rogue agents and prosecutors in the Biden DOJ were looking for ways to pile on new criminal charges against Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot -- this time over his involvement with the J6 prisoner choir, based on a single partisan news article.

An FBI agent assigned to then-special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign has made bombshell allegations charging that misconduct, political bias, and “overzealous thoughts” permeated the team — to the point of festooning the walls of their office with anti-Trump cartoons and drinking alcohol while on the job.

A “Let’s get him” attitude colored the two-year investigation into false claims that Trump and his advisers colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election, the unidentified agent said.

The allegations were first made in December 2020, when the agent was interviewed as part of an internal FBI probe into alleged misconduct by then-supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten — a central figure in both the Russia collusion hoax and the Hunter Biden laptop cover-up.

* There was “no authority” for the Special Counsel’s Office to open a case on Tom Barrack, a billionaire friend of Trump’s and chairman of his 2017 inaugural committee, over false claims that he was an unregistered agent of the United Arab Emirates. ...

* The Mueller team chronically abused federal surveillance, or FISA, warrants that govern secret monitoring of suspected foreign agents to target Trump campaign advisers, even renewing them over the objections of FBI agents. In one case, the agent claimed, “the target of the investigation [was] cooperating and the [surveillance warrant] would not give us anything more ...

* Mueller prosecutor Zainad Ahmad, a protege of former Barack Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch, repeatedly violated security protocols: “For example, she brought classified documents to a meeting at WFO [Washington Field Office] without adherence to FBI security policy by bringing her classified notebook to the meeting without a proper carrying bag. What was worse, she came to WFO from her residence, meaning she kept her notebook at the residence.”

* Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe “referred to President Trump in a derogatory manner” in an official interview record — and DOJ prosecutors later tried to pressure FBI agent Michelle Taylor to “change the tone of the [document] to reflect that McCabe spoke about [Trump] without the negative connotation.” Taylor refused and left the FBI shortly after her secondment to the Mueller team ended, the agent said.

US intel hid Chinese 2020 election meddling from Trump because they opposed his policies, memo says

Analysts inside the U.S. intelligence community sought to conceal evidence of Chinese influence efforts from President Donald Trump during the 2020 election, with analysts saying they didn’t want their intel used by “that vulgarian in the Oval Office” to pursue policies toward China they personally disagreed with.

The revelation is found within a January 2021 report written by — and never before reported upon comments by — analytic ombudsman Barry Zulauf, who conducted a review of the spy community’s handling of Russian versus Chinese meddling efforts during the 2020 election. Among his conclusions was that intelligence analysts downplayed China’s actions because they had disdain for the “vulgarian” Trump and did not want to support the policies and priorities of the Trump administration toward China with which they “personally disagree.”

Just the News reported this week that the U.S. intelligence community has known since early 2020 that Beijing also gained access to American voter registration data and used that information to conduct opinion analysis related to the presidential election between Trump and then-former Vice President Joe Biden.

Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed in the wide-ranging "grand conspiracy" case against the ex-officials who investigated and prosecuted President Trump, two sources with knowledge of the situation tell Axios.
Why it matters: The investigation has produced more than 130 subpoenas since cranking up last year, the sources say, and targets top officials who worked under former presidents Obama and Biden.

The officials, including Comey, have all decried the investigation as political persecution and lawfare.

The assessment referenced the now-widely discredited Steele Dossier, whose inclusion "ran counter to fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment," according to a "Tradecraft Review" completed in June under Trump's current CIA director, John Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe then referred Comey and former CIA director John Brennan for prosecution.

FBI Misled Court to Spy on Second Trump Campaign Advise

Carter Page wasn’t the only adviser from Trump’s first campaign wiretapped by the FBI. Walid Phares was electronically monitored for a 12-month period between 2017 and 2018, according to the Washington-based FBI agent who was assigned to investigate him as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe.

As in Page’s case, the bureau withheld evidence exonerating Phares from the court to secure surveillance authorization, according to newly declassified FBI documents.

“I had no idea any of this was happening,” Phares told RealClearInvestigations in an exclusive interview Wednesday night. “This is shocking because they told my lawyer that I was only a ‘witness’ and that they just needed some information.”

Fishing expedition: Docs expose expansive FBI surveillance of Trump allies, possible illegality

Newly-disclosed records show that the FBI twice subpoenaed future Director Kash Patel's personal data while he was a private citizen in a probe that swept up hundreds of Trump allies, including then-future Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.


Newly released records in the Senate investigation into the weaponization of government raise questions about whether the FBI went on a fishing expedition targeting Trump advisors who were never charged with crimes and whether Special Counsel Jack Smith's prior testimony to Congress was truthful.

The documents were made public by Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, before a Senate Judiciary Committee subcommittee hearing into alleged abuses by the Biden-era FBI and Justice Department in their investigations into then ex-president Donald Trump before and during the 2024 presidential election during its probe code-named "Arctic Frost." Just the News previously reported that Biden's FBI paid anti-Trump 'Sedition Hunters' as informants in the Arctic Frost probes.

"If Watergate taught us anything, it is that even a single abuse of power carried out by a handful of individuals can shake the foundations of our Republic," said Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex., Chairman of the Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Federal Courts, Oversight, Agency Action, and Federal Rights.

"What we confront today, the Biden administration's Arctic Frost scheme, is not a single act," he continued in his opening remarks. One of the central players was Giardina, a “very liberal” FBI agent who was fired from the bureau last year, according to new insights from a colleague who worked with him on the Mueller probe.

Giardina, who performed financial tasks in the special counsel office, was outspokenly biased against Trump, was convinced the lurid allegations in the discredited Steele dossier were true, and believed the president was a Russian agent, said his former colleague, who has been interviewed by the FBI.

The fact that Giardina harbored animosity toward Trump and his allies comes as no surprise to one of his victims, Navarro, a trade adviser to Trump in both presidencies.

Giardina arrested Navarro at Reagan Airport in Washington, DC, in 2022 as he was about to board a plane.

“He wouldn’t let me call a lawyer,” Navarro recalls bitterly, after spending four months in prison in 2024 for failing to comply with subpoenas from Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 star chamber.

Shortly before the 2016 presidential election, Peter Strzok, a key figure in the investigation, texted FBI lawyer Lisa Page to assure her "that there's no way [Trump] gets elected," adding that they "can't take that risk." He added that they had it all in hand because "It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40."

In fact, whether it was known to Strzok or not, there was an insurance policy in the works. In July 2016, then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed President Barack Obama on Hillary Clinton's alleged "plan" to tie then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia as "a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server."

Brennan is believed to be a target of the current investigation, including possible perjury before Congress.

In reality, within days of that briefing on how Clinton would create this conspiracy theory, the investigation began, just as the Clinton campaign hoped it would.

Early on, the FBI was told by the CIA that its sources -- and the Steele dossier -- were unreliable. However, key FBI officials continued the surveillance and the investigation targeting the Trump campaign and key figures. One official later pleaded guilty to lying to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court to continue surveillance without an evidentiary basis.

At the end of 2016, a CIA assessment found that "Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent U.S. election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure." That presidential daily brief was scheduled to be published on Dec. 9, 2016, but the office of James Clapper, Obama's Director of National Intelligence, reportedly stopped the publication "based on some new guidance."

Clapper later joined Obama, along with John Brennan, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe, and others, in a meeting that would ultimately inject the debunked theory directly into the media.

Chuck Grassley shows that Jack Smith’s special counsel team engaged in private communications with two federal judges overseeing Trump-related investigations: Chief Judge Beryl Howell and her successor, Judge James Boasberg, both Obama appointees on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and both known for their outspoken anti-Trump positions.

The document was prepared for then-Attorney General Merrick Garland on Jan. 13, 2023. Transcript From 2019 Exposes More Deep State Machinations Against Trump

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (“HPSCI”) released two transcripts Monday morning from the 2019 closed-door interviews of the then-Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, Michael Atkinson. The just-released transcripts reveal new details behind the scheming that led to the first impeachment of Donald Trump.

That first impeachment trial focused on President Trump’s July 25, 2019 telephone conversation with the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. After the call, a supposed-whistleblower — more on that shortly — filed a complaint with the inspector general’s office on August 12, 2019, charging that Trump sought Zelensky’s assistance in investigating the Bidens to interfere in the 2020 election.

Vindman had listened to Trump’s call with Zelensky in real time from the situation room and testified about his impressions of the call. But Vindman was not the “whistleblower.” According to Real Clear Investigations, the CIA’s Eric Ciaramella was the “whistleblower.” And here’s where the just-released transcripts make things interesting.

After the House launched the impeachment inquiry and the “whistleblower’s” complaint was made public, IG Atkinson testified in a second closed-door interview. During that October 4, 2019 testimony, Atkinson explained that the “whistleblower” had provided him with a “Memorandum of Conversation” dated July 26, 2019. That memorandum purported to summarize a conversation the whistleblower had with an unnamed individual Atkinson identified as “Witness One.”

Atkinson then proceeded to explain that “Witness One,” had “listened to the telephone call in real-time,” which matches up precisely with Vindman. Yet, Atkinson testified that in assessing whether the “whistleblower” complaint was credible, they never spoke with Witness One. Instead, Atkinson testified that they interviewed two of the “whistleblower’s” supervisors to assess their perspective of the “whistleblower.” The IG office also assessed whether the whistleblower held any bias.

The IG’s office was kicking the wrong car’s tires: The so-called whistleblower had no first-hand knowledge of the call and was merely repeating Witness One’s statements. Or, as The Federalist’s editor-in-chief put it, “Vindman, Not Whistleblower, Was Driving Force Behind Impeachment.” But Atkinson didn’t speak with Vindman or assess his credibility or bias before finding the “whistleblower’s” complaint was credible.

Sanjay Patel, a Civil Rights Division prosecutor, was one of the prosecutors fired. The DOJ had placed Patel on administrative leave in March. The House Judiciary Committee had already pinpointed Patel last year as a member of the Biden administration’s weaponization, and the Justice Department report notes that much of the drive toward weaponization came from “career attorneys” like Patel.

According to the report, Patel relied on information from pro-abortion groups like the National Abortion Federation (NAF) for the hit list of pro-lifers to attack. Patel appears in emails lauding the work of NAF Security Director Michelle Davidson, stating, “She has been an MVP bringing incidents to my attention, often in real-time, which usually result in an investigation/prosecution.”

Emails show the task force, led by civil division trial attorney Sanjay Patel, worked closely with Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Feminist Majority Foundation and the National Abortion Federation (NAF) Security Team to initiate investigations and “monitor” pro-life activists — sometimes for years — before requesting arrest warrants and filing charges.

In a Nov. 17, 2021, email, before the task force was launched, Patel had already praised NAF’s security director, Michelle Davidson, to colleagues as an “MVP” at “bringing incidents to my attention, often in real-time, which usually result in an investigation/prosecution.”

The task force director was not nearly as chummy with defense counsel for one of the first pro-lifers indicted for illegally blocking access to an abortion clinic after the Dobbs decision, writing in a Feb. 22, 2023, email that he didn’t “keep the kind of records” the lawyer requested about the total number of “prosecutions for vandalisms of pregnancy centers.”

That was false, the Trump DOJ review found, since he had already forwarded “substantially identical information” to NAF.

Another case, US v. Zastrow, saw Biden DOJ prosecutors seeking “an indirect way to get some more info about religion without directly asking it,” leading to a handful of Christian jurors being flagged “for peremptory and for-cause strikes from the jury pool because of their faith,” according to draft voir dire documents and the subsequent review.

Other draft documents from the Biden-era prosecutors referred to Christian pro-lifers as “culty” — before swapping out a less offensive term so as to appeal to the Catholic magistrate judge who they griped had taken up the case.

“Unfortunately, we ended up with a very Catholic magistrate on duty this week and he was very particular about the bond conditions and not infringing on their first amendment rights,” Assistant US Attorney Frances Lee Carlson wrote in a March 10, 2023, email.
