Since it was done in a state he can't pardon those murder charges, but if it was done in DC--like with the J6 felons--he could. And a friendly red-state governor with pardon power could also go along with him... It feels so chillingly inevitable. You can imagine the horrible rhetoric that will preceded the public signing ceremony.

And then it will be open season on any Democrat.

He and MAGA have broken something in the soul of this nation.

Apparently to break a soul you only need to not have one....

Don't forget Shapiros governor's mansion. So are they sure there was more than one. Hope they had ring cameras. In a normal gov. the fbi would be on it. But its compromised now.

This is a blatant attempt to intimidate the DFL here in Minnesota.

Ask yourself 'why?'.

Because this says to me that they see this state as a real threat to their fascist plans. They also want to neutralize Tim Walz as fast as they can. Again, because they see him as a real threat.

How many times have we assigned blamed to rethugs for violent acts when it turns out to not be the case. In this specific case, and I am not saying this is the cause or related to it, the Minnesota budget recently passed was controversial for the fact it removed MinnesotaCare health coverage for undocumented persons over the age of 18 starting Jan 1, 2026. Hortman being the Minn Speaker of the House had a part in this passing, and Hoffman recently sided with the Minn rethugs on a vote as well.
Regardless of who did this, and I hope they are caught soon and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, my sincerest condolences for the loss of life to the family and friends and pray for the quickest and fullest recovery of the others.

Suspect Who KiIIed Minnesota Dem Had 'NO KINGS' Fliers In His Car

The man who killed Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband on Saturday reportedly had “NO KINGS” fliers in his car. According to police officers, the suspect, who has still not been identified, had writings that mentioned the names of multiple lawmakers and other officials, including Sen. Tina Smith, in the fake police car they believe he used in the shooting of Hortman, her husband, Sen. John Hoffman (D), and his wife, Yvette.

Former Minnesota House Speaker Hortman and her husband were shot and killed in their Brooklyn Park home, while former Champlin Mayor Hoffman and his wife were both shot multiple times. The Hoffmans were hospitalized with serious injuries but are expected to recover. Authorities say the suspect referenced both couples in writings found during the investigation.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) called the deaths of Hortman and her husband a “politically motivated assassination.”

Authorities say Champlin police initially responded to the scene at Hoffman’s residence, with backup from Brooklyn Park officers. Both Hoffman and his wife had been shot multiple times, according to officials. Around 3:30 a.m., officers arrived at Hortman’s home, where they spotted what looked like a police SUV with its emergency lights activated. The suspect reportedly emerged from the house and exchanged gunfire with police before fleeing the scene on foot.

Minneapolis's planned “No Kings” protests have reportedly been called off. Law enforcement is still urging the public to avoid any potential demonstrations throughout the city.

President Donald Trump released a statement on the shootings, saying the FBI would be prosecuting anyone involved to the fullest extent of the law.

“I have been briefed on the terrible shooting that took place in Minnesota, which appears to be a targeted attack against State Lawmakers. Our Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and the FBI, are investigating the situation, and they will be prosecuting anyone involved to the fullest extent of the law. Such horrific violence will not be tolerated in the United States of America. God Bless the great people of Minnesota, a truly great place!” He wrote on social media.

When I saw a news report early this AM that two MN legislators had been murdered, one of the things I looked for in the article was the party affiliation. I did this because DUpipo always always always ... always conclusion-jump like ShazzieB did. And to be honest I thought that DUpipo might actually have finally gotten the RWNJ they so desperately desire.

Unlike DUpipo I know to wait for actual information, and, well, DUpipo got another layer of egg on their faces.

Word is, among legislators, that Senator Tina Smith was on the list along with at least one Republican legislator. The suspect had flyers--apparently handmade--that said "No Kings." Although the police has asked people not to attend the rallies, the word came out late and a significant number of people are marching to the Capitol. It does appear that the police are keeping them away from the grounds.

IF the shooter really IS Vance Boelter, he is part of Praetorian Guard Security Services in Minnesota. He has ties to the Gaza Strip, suggesting a motive.

Unlike DemonRats, I'm not going to celebrate someone on the opposing side being murdered; however, I do find it hilarious that Tampon Tim and crew are getting the vapors and clutching their pearls screaming "political violence" after they've been actively endorsing and encouraging political violence since before Trump was sworn in. Unfortunately, political violence is sometimes like painting a wall in that the paint sometimes gets on you instead of the wall.

As for murderer, he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law regardless of his political persuasion which is diametrically opposite to how the DemonRats see things.

Also, as has been mentioned by others, everyone with any common sense and at least one working brain cell knows how fickle the DemonRats are. DU, with its population of brainless minions, is a prime example of it. You can be a life-long card carrying member of the loony left, but if you happen to have a brief moment of clarity and develop some common sense on even one issue, like say realizing the men can NOT get pregnant, you are now prone to be subject to the wrath of the DemonRat Overlords and their brainless minions.
