Several years back, I stumbled on a fairly detailed account of Israel's attack essentially putting Saddam out of the nuke business for awhile. It was impressive, and I wish I could find it again. I'm surprised a movie hasn't been made of it.
I've always been a supporter of Israel, but after doing a paper on the Six Day War in college in the 80s I really became impressed with such a tiny country's military might AND strategy.
That was in 1981, and IMO, hating Israel was already close to orthodoxy in Hollyweird. Israel's victories in 1967 and 1973 had made Israel the oppressor in many liberals' eyes.
