Not quite a FAFO event, but Padilla tried a PR stunt and got put in his place. Either he didn't have the element of surprise he hoped for or Trump's security people are trained and prepared for stupidity like Padilla attempted.

It is something as simple as decorum. Just because one is a U.S. Senator absolutely does not give you the privilege to barge in and scream at the Secretary of Homeland Security. I'd say the same if Senator Cruz barged in and berated Secretary Majorkas.

It was staged for the MS-13NBC and CNN crybabies.

Kristi said that she and Padilla had spoken right before her briefing, they talked for over 15 minutes and it was a good conversation, even exchanged phone numbers..so why did the prick come back it was ALL a political stunt..they had already talked there was ZERO reason for him to come back

You would think that all of these selected officials, from Alex 'PattyCakes' Padilla to Maniac Maxine Waters to whoever the chick was that tried to bulldoze over agents at the detention center a few days back, know the proper procedures to get questions answered. Instead of following proper procedures, they pull these lunatic stunts. Since they pull these childish, idiotic stunts anyway, I have to think that it is one or (most likely) all of these reasons...
1. They think that rules don't apply to them.
2. They are actually too stupid to hold office.

I had never heard of this Bozo so I looked him up--he's the senate replacement for Kamala Harris.  My guess is that he pulled this stupid stunt to get attention.  He's the senior senator from California and nobody has heard of him, while everybody knows the rookie senator Shifty Schiff.

Watching the video and reading the subsequent comments by Noem, it appears that her security detail thought he was some sort of threat and acted accordingly.  Once they established his identity he was immediately released.  Probably not a good idea to rush the stage of someone who has the Secret Service and the FBI protecting them.  The Dems are taking the position that they should have recognized him.  I doubt anyone, including members of Congress, is capable of recognizing every member of Congress on sight.

But to put the incident in terms that Senator Padilla can understand (and which will make sense if you've ever watched any Congressional hearings).  He was ruled out of order, gaveled down and Noem reclaimed her time.

Padilla is probably most pissed off about the Israel attacks on Iran because he wanted last night to be all about him. Poor baby.

It has been said here and elsewhere, but I couldn't have picked that dude out of a lineup. He wasn't wearing his congressional pin, and looked more like an PANTIFA thug than a U.S. Senator. Certainly his antics were more of an unhinged protester than a member of the country and perhaps the world's most august and respected legislative bodies.

That made me laugh. I've stopped watching the hearings because the dems make me want to throw things at the TV because of things somewhat like this...
