I know right?  Do they even know that .2% of a $10 item is 2 cents?  I don't think they do.  That number is made up anyway, too many variables.

Not in my area. Grocery prices have significantly accelerated upwards the past few months. I'd estimate 35-50% on manufactured food and 20% on produce, meats, and dairy.

Another government lie. Who you gonna believe  a democrat government that has been proven to lie or your own shrinking grocery bags and higher checkout totals?

Yeah, they don't get that it's like compound interest.

As to the supposed improvement, .2% is so small that it's insignificant wrt a shopping trip of more than two or three items. And it's just one month. Maybe it's a trend, maybe the rate will roar on up next month.

Yesterday I paid around $80 for four 12 packs of Coke Zero and two boxes of Carnations breakfast drinks and two boxes of Triscuits and two tubs of potato salad and two small tubs of Cole slaw and a couple of other items that fit into one of those mini grocery carts. Hardly worth it to me at that price.
