Seems to be a temporary fix, but I'm not buying it. I can't stand shared hosting. Anytime some jackleg that's on the same server decides to run a malicious script, it ****s us up as well. This won't change my decision to get my own server.

Keep us updated, please!    I nearly went postal on that Comcrap cable modem (any excuse to destroy it will work just fine...  :uhsure:)

I'm about to go postal on Dreamhost. This is piss poor service. AT LEAST Go Daddy has a damn phone number to contact them with.  :censored:

I could probably lend a hand - but as for hosting, all I offer is shared, not dedicated.  But then I dont allow malicious scripts either.

As soon as FIOS is available in my area I will build and run my own server for my blog. I have a 6 meg connection already but that is likely to bog down at times.

This was a couple of weeks ago.



I use GoDaddy right now and I have very mixed opinions about them.

I havent seen the lag problems here myself but I am not here that much. We had similar problems when first starting NU and it was extremely frustrating.
