If it happens, it wont be about putting him in prison.

It will be about 2 things imo:

1. Trying to undermine his public support - which wont happen. This will only make him stronger.

2. Outraging his opposition because 'this is BS, he gets away with everything' due to the charge being far less than they want no matter how it goes.
