Will Dec. 7th Be Trump's Pearl Harbor Day?

The Georgia election will be over so no partiality. Indict MF45 for something, anything. If nothing is done soon we are heading into the Christmas break, heading into New Years when the Magats control the House.

Pull the ****ing trigger, what a nice Christmas present that would be.

If not now when? A Trump trial at this pace cannot happen until 2026? Hells bells 2027 is coming into play.

I'm 75 years old, I will have to look into that memory pill they advertise on TV.

As :jerkit: ing goes, that was rather incoherent.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Interesting that Star Moron gab13by13's word picture casts Trump's attackers in the role of the Japanese attackers on Pearl Harbor. Quite the Freudian Slip, :rotf: .

An example of the PH aftermath most DUmmies probably don't know:

Going-on 2, sounds like.

The Nips missed our carriers and we sent Harvard-alum, Yamamoto, back to Tokyo via the pine-box express.

Bring everything you've got against MAGA.  The FBI just set a record of around 110,000 background-checks on Black Friday, alone.

Certainly a strange analogy. Will it be “a day that will live in infamy”?

Because the PH attack made carriers the new capital ship, the battleships that were bombed and torpedoed in PH became obsolescent. Their 21 knot speed meant they could not keep up with USN carriers. Except for Arizona and Oklahoma, all were raised, repaired/rebuilt (e.g. 5"51 casemate and 5"/25 open mount AA guns were replaced with 5"/38s in two-gun turrets, such as can be seen in the pic I posted above).

Many of the planes destroyed by the attacks were obsolescent/obsolete (e.g. B-18s and P-36s) or down-rev versions of current planes. The planes were replaced fairly quickly, with current versions of current models.

The big loss in the PH attack was the nearly 2400 sailors, airmen, and ground personnel, and their years and decades of skills and experience.

Whether Warnock wins or loses, Dems' lawfare campaign against Trump suffered a serious blow with Dems' loss of the House majority, a blow inflicted by American voters.

I'm reminded of something Churchill said.......
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Those battleships got their revenge on the Japanese in 1944, destroying the Japanese southern force in the Battle of the Surago Strait.

Adding a bit more about USN capital ship assets on 12/7/41:

CV-2 Lexington was enroute to Midway , ferrying reinforcements;

CV-3 Saratoga was entering San Diego after drydocking in Bremerton;

CV-4 Ranger was in the Atlantic, where she would remain for most of WW2;

CV-5 Yorktown was in Norfolk;

CV-6 Enterprise was returning from delivering VMF-211 to Wake Island;

CV-7 Wasp was in Grassy Bay Bermuda;

CV-8 Hornet was newly in commission, training in Norfolk;

Battleships USS Arkansas, New York, and Texas, the USN's oldest BBs, were in the Atlantic, being deemed insufficiently protected and less capable of being upgraded than the Nevada and newer classes. These remained in the Atlantic for most of WW2, escorting convoys (protecting against surface raiders), helping guard against German surface ship sorties, and supporting invasions (North Africa - Southern France).

The three New Mexico class BBs, the first class with 50-caliber 14" guns (instead of 45-caliber), were in the Atlantic, because Tirpitz and other German battleships and Panzerschiffen.

Modern fast battle ships: both North Carolina class BBs were newly in commission and working up in the Atlantic; South Dakota class BBs South Dakota and Indiana were newly launched and were fitting out in preparation for commissioning, with two more well along in construction.

The PH attack was devastating in personnel losses and serious in ship losses, but the latter would largely be recup'ed within a year or so, by ships being shifted to the Pacific and new-builds. And the Essex and Independence class carriers and light carriers were coming.

BTW, the IJN also had the problem that half of its battleships could not keep pace with its carriers. The four Kongo class ships that could, were the IJNs oldest and lightly armored. Hiei may have been lost to a 8" shell due to its old design, and USS Washington chewed up Kirishima "easily" due to Kirishima's light armor. The Fuso class (2), Ise class (2), and Nagato class (2) were too slow; the new Yamato class (2) were fast enough, but were fuel hogs.

The possibly urban legend hindsight comment attributed to Yamamoto Isoroku that he could run rampant for 6 months but could not guarantee what would happen after that proved pretty accurate.

Dems' and DU-grade Progs' almost 7 1/2 year hate-fixation on Trump slowly cost the Dems their House majority. Looking forward to 2024: LIEden isn't looking too healthy, literally or metaphorically; Kammie is looking like ballot-box poison; I don't think Goobernor Noisome will play well in most states; apparently, more D Senate seats are up for grabs in 2024 than R Senate seats, which has not been the case for 2 or 4 election cycles.
