DUmmies try to out-vegetable each other

Tired of the main insane asylum holding pen, I ventured into the kitchen.

It's a vegetarian dinner for me tonight. I experimented further with my tomatillo salsa, so I'll have that with grilled cauliflower steaks.

Coconut curry made mainly with tofu and cauliflower over brown basmati rice. And then I remembered that I’m not all hat wild about curry.

Shoutout to Frank, who has the same opinion of cocoanut that I do.

Maybe this belongs more in "Cryin' in My Beer", but this week I'm going to have to eat more like these DUmmies  for a few days due to a scheduled colonoscopy.

I've got a prime porterhouse waiting for Friday afternoon to grill when it's done!

Tomatillo salsa is great ... as the sauce in chili verde ... nice slow-cooked cubes of pork ... yum! Had half a chili verde burrito last evening, the other half is today's lunch.

A 1/2"-1" thick longitudinal slice of cauliflower with grill marks. Maybe if it's burnt enough and sufficiently smothered in sauce it'd kill the awful cauliflower taste. As described, pretty much no protein in that meal.

I’ve been to at least one landfill that installed a pipe system to collect all of that methane, and use it to fuel electric generators, thus putting an extra 7 MW or so onto the grid.  It won’t last forever, but they’re making money off of the digestion of their garbage.
