I saw my neighbor beat his wife and kids. He literally knocked their teeth out.
I’m pretty sure he is going to move away in a week or two so there is no reason for me to call the cops.
He will be out of my hair.

does not absolve you of the responsibility of reporting a crime and possibly even saving the wife's life! Those guys don't stop.

19. I remember years ago I had a couple that were friend over to play cards. In the middle of playing

apparently he did not like the card she played and slapped her in the face. I said I don't know what the hell goes on in your house, but I don't put up with that shit in mine. He apologized, but needless to say about 5 years later they were divorced and he moved on to another woman, who ended up filing aggravated assult charges against him and he was arrested. Tigers don't change their stripes.
