Some years ago 0bama signed a treaty with the UN to control the arms trade. It was really designed to restrict the 2nd Amendment here in the US. it was never sent to Congress to ratify because not even the  Rats would sign away gun rights. Trump just pulled us out of this pointless treaty.

Now Nancy and the Primitives are all waggling their arms in faux outrage over a piece of paper that has no teeth. For your amusement:

I've watched this unfold from the perspective very early that he was turned by Putin. Everything he does makes sense from that point of view. The electoral college allowed Putin to be elected President of the United States.

I read an article that indicated the Court refused to intervene when a previous POTUS pulled out of a treaty.

Making Dems position clear and focusing on the folly of Trump's decisions may be the only option.

So Nancy, how come Congress NEVER ratified the treaty? The treaty would have been law if they did. But right now it is just a piece of paper with 0bama's signature. It was never law and it was never implemented in any way. Your argument is MOOT.

So Trump is ignoring and invalidating an invalid treaty by Preezy Shit Midas. It was at best an agreement, held zero actual value, and of course took away American liberty.

This treaty was signed by OhBummer!, but never ratified. That means it was never in force, never US law, had had no effects on the US' status in the world.

All Trump did was ask the US Senate to cease the ratification process.
