How significant is the Chinese-American vote? Anybody know?

Is accident-prone Breadlines Bernie capable of carrying this group, or might it be fertile ground for decent and civilized people? Good-looking chick at the article, by the way.

‘Damn socialism, why are you chasing me?’ Chinese-Americans see ghost of communism in Democrats’ leftward turn

When Saga Zhou first moved to the United States from China in 2009, she steered clear of politics. The Communist Party rules supreme in China, so most Chinese immigrants bring a built-in aversion to political involvement.

But Zhou’s interest in politics was piqued as she began to see the American Left embracing policies that reminded her of those she’d fled in China.

One such policy was the Left’s support for late-term abortion. When she lived in China, Zhou, like many young Chinese, didn’t consider abortion to be a big deal. But her view changed after moving to America, getting married, and bearing two children.

“After I became a mother, my understanding about life fundamentally changed,” she told me when we met at a Panera Bread in Irvine. “Now I am totally a mother.”.....

Read "Wild Swans" by Jung Chang. Her grandfather was a Kuomintang general, and her parents were mid-level Communist officials who were persecuted by Mao Tse-Tung. She escaped to America.

This is my best advice to understand the Chinese mindset. Her book is very clear and well-written. www.audible.ca is offering it as a "Free audiobook with free trial".

Understand you've been tired lately. Try the audiobook. You can get it for free. Her story is quite fascinating and entertaining. I highly recommend it.

Be strong, my friend. We need you. Re Bernie ("the sourassed, sourpussed, etc."; how's it go again?), listen to the audiobook to understand the complex reasons I doubt he would receive those votes in great number.

Those who come from communist / socialist countries understand the evils of it. Unfortunately we have a generation of people who are stuck on stupid glued to phones and social media. Young people with no jobs , student loan debt and who own nothing are drawn to the " new socialism" as a chance to get all life's goodies with out working for them.

What they don't understand is they are selling out to slavery where everyone is miserable. they are to stupid to understand the plight of those now in venezuela, that that is what they are being sold.

I read  socialism is voted in and driven out with bullets. :thatsright:
Life is tough and it’s even tougher when you’re stupid

Basking in the glow of my white Privilege, while I water the Begonias with liberal tears!

I will give up my guns when the liberals give up their illegal aliens

We need a Bull Shit tax to make the Democrats go broke!

I'm a Liberal weo respects Conservatives. Certainly no socialist. That's why my Conservative friends invited me here, when my 9,170-post Discissionist account was stolen from me by Lefty-Righty extremists, who alerted my posts 300+ times. This is how extremists behave. They hate reasonable people.
