I can't tell you how many times I've been contacted by job recruiters to fill a job in Commiefornia. Each and every time I've told them politely that I couldn't possibly consider taking a job in a state in which the cost of living exceeds my current cost x5 with a salary that didn't come close to covering it.

IOW, not just no, but HELL no.
