12. Thread title IS NOT supported by the video. There is a point the OP may have overlooked.

1) The interviewee, Dan Kildee (D-Mich), said he did not know about the specifics of the trip.

2) The trip was secret until tRump revealed the United States official secret publicly in his letter. Hence Kildee would not have known much if anything about it. He may or may not have known there was a trip, but almost certainly did not know all of the destinations.

3) If Speaker Pelosi left today as scheduled, she could easily visit the three countries and be back in the House on Tuesday as scheduled. She could even have cut the trip short if really necessary. It looks like the interviewer had not figured this out (hard to do live).
