Anyone go to Sturgis this year?

If so what was the general feeling on trump's attack on HOG?  Were folks trashing their bike to show support for trump?

Sturgis is on my bucket list.  Maybe one day.

His attack H/D isn't good for him.  Lots of Trump faithful ride Harley's.  Including a lot of those in uniform....and patriotic organizations like the Patriot Guard Riders.

The day I like 100% of what any president does will be the day someone opens a door for me and says "Be careful of the step there, Mr. President."

We don't worship politicians on the right. I think it's safe to say that most of us hate all of them in one way or another, they are politicians... they beg to be hated. We aren't DUmpasses.
I still don't like Trump, never have. He's not a decent person. But this is irrelevant now. I believe we had better choices that would have worked out much better as far as party support goes, but Trump wasn't installed for that purpose, he was installed to destroy DC... or at least the best he could. And that includes RAT bastard republicans who've forgotten who they work for.
But unlike the typical DUmpass or lefty, I look at results. I measure results, then I grade results. I don't hate everything about him because hes not black, or because he's not meemaw. I'll wait for the results.
Besides, Indian makes better bikes anyway.

That's just not something that normal, civilized folks would do.  As FZ said, we don't worship politicians.

One of my neighbors also went, said it was biz as usual. Seems trump's rants on HOG will have minimal impact on the lifestyle.

The only thing I read about Sturgis was that antifa was going to show up.
No idea if that was ever true and don't care but take it they did not.

Anyways welcome to CC and props for being open on the screen name for being open about things.

The little fascists would find out what a real beat down felt like.

Watching an actual fascist puke take a beat-down from a freedom loving American would be a beautiful thing to behold.

There are a few videos of it happening on YouTube.  They're pretty funny.  One fascist had a pipe or something and hit a guy who turned around and knocked him smooth out.

Dude/dudette... Bikers certainly don't march to the beat of the same drummer. So many of those folks do so much good for kids and they all have their own agendas, families and lives that aren't dependent on what some politician says.

Mostly, they might say "Screw Trump" and move on. Not one is trashing their bike.

I've seen a few videos of Sturgis.

Not interested. Particularly stupid are those who like to spin their rear tires. Wasteful, idiotic, and completely pointless.

I can't imagine anyone would do that.  The Harley owners I know are mad at Harley for moving production over there but I doubt they would ever stop riding a Harley.

Only if it was an AMF.

I think President Trump is correct, but it'll be the owners that will make their displeasure known.

Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
