7. What was modified on the picture on the exact day that Norm Coleman conceded the race to Franken?
8. Why doesn’t Tweeden want an investigation while Franken does?
9. Why did Tweeden say the skit was written for her when it obviously has been around since 2003 on video?
10. Franken has done this skit with many women what do they have to say about the rehearsal?
11. Tweeden says she told people at the USO show right after it happened. Where are they and why haven’t they come forward?
12. How did Roger Stone learn about this a day before it happened?

My gut says this is a smear campaign. Tweeden claims to be traumatized by Al planting a sloppy kiss on her during a USO skit. This is a woman that has posed nude and been in the Playboy mansion; I would think that she's had worse things said and done to her. Don't get me wrong, Al may have overstepped his humor but he is not a predator and this was all about getting him off the committee that questions Trump's nominees AND for LeAnn to sell books. I think there's a reason Al has said he welcomes an investigation. If the twitter rumblings are true....this is a set up.

6. IIRC Tweeden says she only knew about the "picture" when she received a copy of it later. Did
Al Franken also receive a copy ? In which case that would be an unaltered version, and it can be compared, if Al still has it.
DUmpmonkiez are sure the russians made up a fake photo that even Franken says is real.

20. IIRC, the photo that is shown is on her phone and there is a cd/dvd somewhere with all the pictures
and backstage antics that the photographer gave all the people who help and appeared on the tour. Something tells Drumpf has seen the cd, because he tweeted about pics 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6.

about the Russia investigation. He has been called out by trump many times now.
This is a very deliberate ploy by the GOP and fox to silence him. That woman has inflated a whole story around that stupid picture. It's all bullshit.

There are pix all over twitter of that USO tour show - she had no problem with the country singer grabbing her ass and she even turned around and grabbed his on stage.

15. a couple questions/quibbles.
no al should not step down. yes, this is a smear job.
but- a couple things about that metadata.
i dont know about this camera, and am not a big photog, but i think the time/date stamp is something that is set by the operator, so it could have been set incorrectly. i dont think it is like a phone time stamp.
someone more informed about the model, or about army practices could give a more definitive answer.
and the modification date could just be the photo being resaved. may be just moving it to another device, which would resave it and mark it modified even if it is not altered. the date is suspicious, tho.

65. There is a hell of a double standard going on around here right now and it's disgusting.
We villainize the right when they deny wrong-doing and then attempt to discredit their accusers. We exclaim that it takes courage for women to come out and publicly recount their sexual abuse. But when the accused is a beloved senator on our side, who has admitted wrongdoing and apologized to his accuser, we are digging up everything we can to tear down his accuser. It is absolutely 100% hypocritical and it makes my skin crawl. I don't care if she is a conservative. I don't care if she fraternizes with clowns on the extreme right. I don't care what her views are. Sexual assault is sexual assault. Is it possible she is lying and this is a political hit job? Yes it is. Those are things that will come out during an investigation. In the meantime I'm going to give her the same benefit of the doubt that I'm giving Roy Moore's accusers. I see the same thing in the picture that you see which is that his hands are more hovering than they are touching. I see him smiling as if it is a joke. But I don't find it funny and his hands are in a position that I would not be okay with if it were my private parts or if she were my wife. He admits the picture was wrong and a mistake. I take him at his word. I know there are "witness statements" on twitter. I will believe them when they recount the incident under oath. Until then they are just random people on the internet.
I was a fan of Al when he was on Air America. I was elated that he ran and won a seat in the senate. I think he is doing important work. I don't want to believe these accusations. I also strongly supported John Edwards and voted for him in 2004 and 2008. I felt he was talking about something the other candidates were missing and I think that the issues he campaigned on culminated in the 2016 election. When his troubles began I didn't want to believe them. Ultimately I was incredibly disappointed to find out that they were true. I also felt that Anthony Wiener was one of the true progressives calling out the right in congress. I was a big fan. I didn't want to believe the allegations against him. I was disappointed again. These things happen. Is it possible that Senator Franken is taking the best approach he can with the intention of seeing his innocence proved later? Sure. I'm not calling for his head. I'm not calling for his accuser's head either. It wouldn't be right.
As far as I'm concerned this site is engaged in a witch hunt right now. It needs to stop.
