From various sources (Of which I am posting the link where it was first reported) new information:
(It is not clear if the photos shown are the guy but the name and background are supposed to be correct according to CBS!?)
Texas Church Shooter is in Southerland Springs, TX is Identified as Devon Patrick Kelly
http://www.smobserved.com/story/2017/11/05/news/texas-church-shooter-is-in-southerland-springs-tx-is-identified-as-devon-patrick-kelly/3188.html
That article has multiple problems. The first two paragraphs:
The shooter walked into the church in Southerland Springs Texas at 11/45 am. Churchgoers knew the shooter, Devon Patrick Kelly, who carried automatic weapons.
The shooter is dead. He has not been officially identified, but Mustachio Tweeted: #texaschurchshooting shooter is 29 year old US marine turned muslim convert, Samir Al-Hajeed. His manifesto is making its rounds on the web."
The killer did not use "automatic weapons".
The killer
is not currently a member of any of the US armed forces.
The killer
was in the Air Force.
The "paper" that posted this is in Santa Monica, CA, an Orange County beach city half a continent (nearly 1400 miles) away from where the shooting happened.
The "source" for "paper"'s "report" is an annoymorous Twitter user who may live in Xian, China for all readers know.
The "paper" that posted this is a weekly freebie throwaway whose major activity seems to be publishing DBA notices. IOW, it's a little more credible as a news source than the now defunct
Weekly World News (home of "Bat Boy").
