If they are calling it Christmas and not winter solstice holiday, it is a good thing.
Good point!
It reminds me of something very annoying that happened last December:
An app game I play, "The Simpsons: Tapped Out," always has fun mission events at certain points of the year, including for holidays. Their 2015 Christmas event was a lot of fun, with a storyline involving Homer and Ned Flanders competing over who can out- decorate the other (i.e. Homer tries to build the world's largest snowman with all kinds of problems coming about, Ned tries to build the world's largest gingerbread house and ends up getting high off the sugar fumes, etc.).
2016, however, the mission event involved Lisa getting everyone in town to reject Christmas and instead embrace paganism with a Winter Solstice fair, with those mean old Christians Ned Flanders and Rev. Lovejoy of course setting out to ruin everyone's fun. They even had Lisa throw in a line about how everyone who reads the Bible is a "Lunatic," just for the heck of it.
Turns out, I wasn't alone in my hatred for that event; loads of the game's other fans hated it, too.
Hopefully this year's event will be more enjoyable.
