Since we're talking of two very different significant things that happened in Munich in the past 100 years, that brings up the question of just to what was NW alluding:

* The 1923 Beer Hall Putsch?

* The 1938 Munich Conference (to which I alluded)?

* The slaughter of the Israeli Olympic team by Pali Arab terrorists at the 1972 Olympics (to which you were referring?)?

* The July, 2016 multiple murder in the Munich mall?

No matter how many such incidents one might recall, none are analogous to whatever NW was trying to say.
