I wonder if Donald Trump's father was part of the
German-American Bund in the late 30s. I'd be very interested to know that.

Well old and wise one, why don't you go research ? You are so obsessed with President Trump.

The German-American Bund wasn't what Minnesota Moses apparently thinks it was.

But I'll leave him to look it all up himself.

Like something 10 years or so before Trump was born would matter?

President Trump, on his Father's side, is first-generation American (i.e. US), Though Frederick Trump's upbringing was almost entirely in the US. DJT's Mother's family name was Scottish. Frederick, in the 20s into the 60s was into construction. He built barracks and apartments for USN personnel near shipyards. In the 40s and 50s he said his family was Swedish and many of his tenants were Jewish. So I tend to doubt that Frederick Trump, whatever his actual faults may have been, was a closet Nazi.

Not that whatever Frederick was during the 1930s means much as to the character of DJT, born some 10 years later. Is MM hoping to recycle the stupid Bushes were Nazis meme?

Not that facts matter on DU.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Just asking questions (also known as JAQ-ing off) is a way of attempting to make wild accusations acceptable (and hopefully not legally actionable) by framing them as questions rather than statements. It shifts the burden of proof to one's opponent — rather than laboriously having to prove that all politicians are reptoid scum, one can pull out one single odd piece of evidence and force the opponent to explain why the evidence is wrong.

It should be noted that accusing one's opponent of "just asking questions" is a common derailment tactic and a way of poisoning the well. Asking questions in and of itself is NOT invalid.

The leftist media has a new tactic. They post a slanderous lie on Facebook or Twitter, knowing that the sheep following them will spread the lie faster than the truth.  They wait a few hours, days or weeks and then admit they were wrong. That never gets spread so the lie is accepted as fact.
