The part of the district that's in Cobb County was never going to go Dem. They had to hope they pulled enough obamites from Fulton (pretty tough) and DeKalb (obamite area) counties to make up the difference. Wasn't going to happen.

Look, even the Atlanta Braves knew to get out of Fulton, and definitely not go to DeKalb (The Braves are already going to get mugged. No reason their fans should, too.), but to build their new stadium in Cobb.

I've been skimming the threads over there. I wonder how they can simultaneously believe:

1) The seat has long been held by Republicans so losing it by a smaller than normal margin is some sort of "moral victory."

2) Thee Democrat would've won if the votes hadn't been altered.
