Did Ptarmigan kill Simon the giant rabbit?

This looks awfully suspicious, known rabbit hater and Simon found dead at O'Hare? This could be big!
If someone has already posted their suspicions give me a link.

The rabbit was intending to de-pressurize the airplane to kill humans. Of course that failed.
