Nando’s, the Mozambician/Portugese restaurant that specializes in chicken, started a politically charged ad campaign directly targeting President-elect Donald Trump.
The campaign, dubbed with the hashtag #EveryoneisWelcome, is causing a stir just a week before Trump is sworn into office. The restaurant chain that has about 1,000 outlets in 30 different countries has covered all six of its Washington D.C. locations with posters proclaiming they are “
an immigrant employing, gay loving, Muslim respecting, racism opposing, equal paying, multicultural restaurant” that welcomes everyone.
