Keep in mind that in the past several decades our government has done nothing. From "W"'s orders for border patrol and ICE to stand down and Clinton's Fast 'n Furious sandal to Obama's executive order on amnesty; our government has done nothing; quite the opposite. Our government is vastly corrupt and making money off of the drugs and gun running. Most importantly don't lose sight of the fact that there was a push for the North American Union uniting Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
There are only two candidates that I am aware of who have spoken out against illegal immigration - Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. Members of the MSM, RNC, GOPe and DEMS say their words are too harsh. Other candidates are proposing some sort of amnesty and/or a pathway to citizenship. Why? To get the Latino vote for those already here and clearly amnesty will give the DEMS the White House. They are in the process of redrawing several voting districts in Florida which is favoring the DEMS.
No amnesty. Build a wall. Existing immigration laws need to be enforced. A moratorium needs to be placed on immigration into the U.S. until this mess is fixed. Start mass deportation with NO chance of citizenship. Those that self-deport may at some point in time have a chance at citizenship although citizenship is not a guarantee it needs to be earned. Those that want to enter this country legally will be given first choice at citizenship. After the fence is built it needs to be secured by appropriate means i.e., drones, guard towers, land mines, etc.
